Default Help....please

hey. my friend just gave me his 2 10 inch subs w/ enclosure and my other friend gave me his kenwood 800 watt amp. i thought that this would be a good start to getting my subs in since i got most the stuff for free. so then...i go to buy rockford fostgate wires...and i go to hook up my subs. i then see that one of the subs are blown and that they are a piece of ****. so i went out and bought two 10 inch mtxs. i try to fit them in the box...and they don't fit. instead of making the holes bigger..i just bought a new box just cuase. then i put my subs in the box, wire everything up...and then i hear nothing. i put in about 10 fuses to my amps to see why it keeps blowing.. i tried to bypass the remote but it still kept blowing fuses... is my amp bad or do i have a bad connection somewhere?

the fuse in the amp is blowing as soon as you turn it on?if so then its bad. if its blowing after playing for a few minutes then you might want to look at the wiring again.
