Default HELP! Need to have amp repaired!

I have an Earthquake PH-D2 powering 2 12" Kicker L7's. One day, it just didnt' work anymore, I have tried everything and am almost positive it's the amp.

It's not completely dead. It's playing a quiet fuzzy static-like sound, so I was wondering if anyone happen to know a car amp repair shop somewhere in so cal, or pretty much just anywhere as long as it's a good place.

Has anyone had this problem before?

A old MTX amp I had did that same thing. Took it to check on getting it fixed and it was like going to be like $120. Needless to say I just chunked it (bad idea at the time).

Oh almost forgot. Have you opened it up to check for broken/burnt parts? A Alpine amp I had was semi doing this. Working sometimes, sometimes not. Turned out the ground had busted loose and just contacting it sometimes. Just soldered it back together. Another amp actually busted a little capacitor.

I would just junk it, but this thing puts down 2000 watts RMS! haha Cost me a good chunk of change. Hmm.. it'll take some time to take apart.. but I guess I'll have to.

Yeah mine was only 500 watts. One I got for $110 from a friend and another for $75, so needless to say I wasn't out a fortune.
