Default Help a n00b?

I'm a complete n00b with car elec. stuff, this all started with someone breaking into my 99 civic, jacking my CD player, and for some unknown reason going into my trunk, stealing a couple things from there, and trying to rip out my OEM 6x9's. My car was bought used, and apparently when BestBuy installed my headunit about 2 years ago, they failed to tell me about the radio chassis being loose and for some reason glued with epoxy, which I found out about as soon as I found my car broken into.

Here's my biggest dilemma: I bought a Varad AlarmLED just to tide me over until I can get the $, since I don't have an alarm. You can install without an alarm system, but I don't know where an 12v "ignition switched terminal" is in my car to hook it up. Wiring config is: red to constant 12v (+), black to ground, yellow to ignition. I have no idea where to begin hooking that up, and I'd really appreciate any help a someone might be able to provide, cuz I'm not replacing a headunit just to have it stolen 2 days later.

Thanks for any help.

You can wire it at the fuse box, the ground can go to one of the studs that hold the fuse box in place, [10mm nut] on the fuse box you will find "free pins", [flat male spade term.] there you will find a 12V+ constant, for the red wire, a 12V+ 2nd ign. switched for the yellow.
You could also wire it at the radio harness the black is ground, the white w/ blue or yellow tracer is 12V+ constant and red w/ yellow tracer is 12V+ acc. 94

Thanks so freakin' much! I thought you could wire to radio harness, but I wouldn't know which wires did what, of course. Thanks again!
