Default help with i pod connection

so i recently installed a dice ipod interface on my mini cooper S...the place i got it from said that i works with the itouch...not really, i have to reboot it everytime i start up the car because the screen locks...whatever dont really mind but now the radio says detached eventhough it is attached and charging!!! anyone here kno what i can do to make it work...

that happens to me too but i dont have the itouch, i got i think is a regular ipod, the radio will play the ipod but it will say its disconnected, i look at it but dont put mind to it, sumtime it will display the title name artist etc

Try disconnecting your battery and starting from scratch. look at i pod specific instructions.maybe even call the company.
