Default help with EG audio system.



My 95 EG coupe is on stock audio right now, even the head unit. i want to put in a better performing system. nothing too expensive, but i want it to be better than now. any recommendations?

i was in the similar situation before...
i highly suggest shoppin at best buy
got some decent equipment for pretty cheap
...both interior front/rear speakers and head unit
the subs and amp however...
i shopped online for em
http://www.onlinecarstereo.com was where i found my jl audio subs
as far as what exact models to roll wit
jus ask around and see what people are happy with

i reccomend pioneer

go to a store to see a demo of a unit, then buy it off of ebay

i really reccomend the pioneer deh-p8600mp but its like $500 retail and $335 on ebay

Not that I'm necessarily against going into a store and demoing equipment to only buy it off the internet, but if you do go into a shop to look at equipment, don't waste the employees time. Its pretty low of someone to use a shop for demo reasons only to buy on the interent, the reason the shop charges more is because they have a storefront and demo equipment. If you need advice and help from a local shop, I would hightly recommend buying from them and supporting them.

very true i work in best buy and hate answering a million questions to then have people walk

A stereo shop will let you see the unit in person.
You can try it.
They will install it for you.
Explain how to use it.
Give you warranty and service on it.
If you have any question or problem, just pay them a visit.

Trust me, it's worth the difference in price...now, will ebay do all these?
