I have a 97 civic lx and the alarm system has been activated on it. When i bought the car, i didnt get the keyless entry remote, so i basically cant control that. Though for some reason, its been activated, and now whenever i open the door, the alarm is activated and you all know the story. Does any one know what i could possibly do? Would maybe buying the remote help?

If you bought a car and you didn't get the remotes for the alarm, someone out there has the remotes and has keyless access to your car you can get new remotes and program them in to the alarm and erace the old ones 94

 

you can just pull section 3 and 6 from the fuse box. disconnect negative battery first. youll have no alarm.
