Help Adding a switch to my actuators.
Hello HT. I'm having a hard time installing a switch to my actuators.
My car is an integra RS so it came with manual everything.
So I got an alarmed installed with actuators (Viper 3303) key less entry.
I was wondering how do you add a switch to my actuators so I can unlock and lock the car while I'm in the vehicle. Cause i cant unlock my doors unless i turn off the car. I'm gonna be using an oem unlock/lock switch so it has 3 prongs to it.
I have a diagram of how they installed it.

Wait, that can't work.
Do you mean you wired the power and ground for the door locks, [purple and black] to the same place the alerm got it's power and ground, [red and black], if so, that will work although I would not use the same power.
It will not be easy to add switches to that setup because the relays are "built in".
There are three (3) ways to go....
Open alarm brain up and find the control side of the lock and unlock relays, [should be a ground pulse] solder leads to them and run them outside the box install SPDT momentary switch, ground input to switch, connect the outputs to the two leads.
Install off-board relays, rewire the alarms door lock harness to a neg.(-) trip to control the off-board relays and wire the above SPDT momentary switch to the same terminal on relays, [#85 or #86] as the alarms door lock outputs.
Install 5 wire door lock switches and rewire the alarms power door lock harness for a 5 wire system.94
