Default Help

Anyone know how to hook up caps i got 2x0.5 farad and 1x1 farad, 2 pioneer amps, a alpine v12 amp, a optima battery and the thing so you can run two batteries from the same alternator. What I need is that The whole amp system runs off my 2nd battery and that the caps stiffen the whole deal so how do i do that?

the isolator will seperate the batteries when the car is off so the system only drains the rear battery. as far as hooking all that stuff up, take power off of the rear battery and the isolator will seperate the batteries when needed. dont forget you will need 3 fuses: 1 for the front of the 0ga run, 1 for the rear of the 0ga run, and 1 after the 2nd battery. hope this helps and good luck

you dont want to use an isolator it will give you an 1.5 volt drop you want to use a 100 amp sinlge throw relay it wont have any voltage drop but you will still need the fuses
