hey guys new here juts bought me a 93 Accord 4 door LX as my daily driver.... i am currectly installing a Jensen VM9510 headunit in it and have come to a roadblock... i've hooked up all the wiring.. except the dimmer which there is none and a parking brake wire that ur supposed to hookup to ur parking brake so u can only watch movies when the e-brake is up.. so didnt hook that up either.. but when i turn the car on.. nothing f'in happens... yet when i take the fuse out and put it back in.. it seems to start up and the fan gets going and the cuts off.... anyone have any suggestions or idea's? any of you audio guys? Thanks

use a meter to test your accesory wire and your battery wire behind the headunit. They should test 12 volts. Also make sure your ground is well grounded. Did you follow your install instructions.
ya i eventually tried that.. so i went to circuit city to have a install guy look at it . n he determined that sumthing internally is damaged causing it to turn off right away.. thanks for ur input.. now i may take it apart n see if its sumthing simple..
on not taking it apart yourself, sometimes if you just be patient and send the unit to the factory to inspect, and they determine that it was a faulty product and not consumer misuse, they will repair/replace the unit for free or maybe just shipping costs.
