head unit doesnt work after tracking??
ok so this was my first time tracking and i had my cd playing in the car. at a point i hit a bump and then i backed fired and my cd player skiped and started to get stuck in fast foward mode. on the way home i noticed that my nothing wanted to work. the volume didnt want to change. all the functions didnt want to work either. i have a sony explode. just to let u kno. so does anyone know what can be wrong? or is my head unit done for and i have to get another one? thanks guys.
Well it was a Sony Xplode, it exploded.
Just kidding, [maybe not], try a reboot, disconnect the batt. neg.(-) terminal wait a few min. and reconnect, see if HU reinitialized itself.
Let me also ask you this, does the Sony HU have a back support?
What is the MM&Y of car it's in?

its an acura integra 96. and i dont think it has a back up support.
well to explain it more. like when u hit a hard bump on the road and ur cd player skips for a few secounds and restarts again. well something similar but this time it wouldnt stop skiping.
