Default Hard hitting cds thread.

I seen it not to long ago. Unless Im crazy I searched for it. I want to know what would be some good bass cds. Anything from just bass to harder hitting hip hop. Sorry mods I know I seen it. Maybe I searched for the wrong thing.

Thanks

the bass mechanics cd is a straight test of bass, but i personally like listening to music to test how my system sounds. Try listening to Bone, there songs usually slump pretty hard.

How about good music with good recorded bass? "Bass CD's" are trash musically, and they make people look at you, point, and laugh.

Check out Gov't Mule's "The Deep End Vol. 1". Matt Abt's kickdrum is recorded really really well and the album is full of legendary bass players. For something a little more "urban", I always thought Rage Against the Machine's "Evil Empire" had an amazing thumping low-end.
