GPS tracker will remote kill switch.
I'm putting a GPS tracker in my friend's car. He has a 97 Ek.
The GPS tracker is all hooked up and operational except the remote car kill.
The GPS tracker has a relay that is suppose to be hooked up in case the car is stolen, it can be remotely turned off. Now, the diagram says to hook the relay up to the oil pump, but that seems to be incorrect because thats pretty much an engine killer. I'd rather connect it to the starter or fuel pump if thats at all possible. What could I wire it up to so that if the car is in motion, I can remotely turn the car off? Here is the diagram of what the relay says to do:

That is HIGHLY questionable and I would hesitate to install that. The oil pump is mechanical... so wtf?! And why would you want to blow your own engine? Is this for diesel trucks? Do those have electric oil pumps?
The best thing to kill is the main relay. It has one or two solid black ground wires in the harness. You replace "oil pump" in your diagram with the main relay.
If there are two black wires on your main relay sharing the same pin, you join them together on each end after cutting them in two.
