Got Bass?
reminds me of the idiot back in HS that stole a speaker from the movie theatre and tried to use it in his car. The dude hid in the theatre and after the last show stole the speaker after everyone left.

its called the "thunderdome", and its made by clarion. it was designed for exebition and demonstration uses, but people did buy them and install them.it is 32" acrossthere used to be a shop in the chicagoland area that had-has one installed into their concreet wall.

Yes it is a 32" sub, yes it was produced in limited quantities. With a 3299 msrp or something crazy like that. Max power was 1000 watts, and it required a huge enclosure something like 12+ cubic feet.
And it only does 150's..... do you know how loud 150dbs actually is? 150dbs is compared to a shotgun blast at point blank range to your ears. Most of the systems on the market for 2 woofer one sub amp systems arent even at 150db's.
170db is the sound of a jet engine at close range.
Audiobahn made a 35" aluminum sub recently too with an absurd price as well. It looks like a huge chinese cooking wok.
What a waste.

yeah... i know what 150dB is... i also know what 160dB is...
I have had multiple systems..
1994 Accord w/ 3 JL 12w0s fiberglassed to the back dash pushed by a RF 250m mono block, hit 146 on the dash.
my 2000 Si hit 143 on the dash with 2 12w0s pushed by a crunch v-600
My friends and i used to be big into stereos...
My room mate had a Geo Storm w/ 6 12w0's pushed by a HiFonics Zeus, hitting 156 on the dash
Our stereo shop had 9 JL 12w3's pushed by 9 Sony Mono Blocks in a grand cherokee... at slamfest 3 years ago, we hit 161.2 with it...
I also sat in the PPI bronco 3 years ago at Spring Nationals... They hit the switch to engage the locks on the passenger side, told me to plug my ears, left the driver door open, put it at about 60% volume, and i couldn't even breathe....
That sub is JUNK... It sounds like me grabbing my asscheeks and pulling them apart to let one loose after i just finished eating a half dozen bean burritos from taco bell with extra fire sauce on them...
And people wonder why i can't hear them anymore...

I dont mean to knock your system. But 600 watts and 2 jl w0's is crap.
WE recorded 146DBs with two audiobahn 12's and one dd 1800 mono amp all wired down to 1ohm stable.
W0's are **** entry level jl audio subs. imo w7s are overpriced but are great, and the w3's are also good.
now solo barrics, dd's and other brands like audiobahn top the notch. That sub in the pic was a waste of time if it was photochopped.

No that isnt a photoshop... thats pioneers poor excuse for a large subwoofer. It sucks butt - horribly! Audiobahns AWT34 is pretty nice, but why would you want a 34" subwoofer? You could pickup 3 - 12's and end up getting louder... for cheaper!
Its still impressive to see it, but dont bother turning it on cause it aint loud enough
