good spot in firewall???
Is it a stick or auto? If it's an auto you should have a rubber plug where the clutch pedal would go through on a stick, you can go through it, not 100% sure, but it should be there.
On my 94 Civic, above the accelerator is a round rubber piece, you can easily pull that off, and push the wire through, then pull on it from behind the accelerator.
Other than that, I know on some cars you can find holes around the master cylinder, and if you need to, just drill a hole.

on the driver side under the hood there is this big black rubber that some other wires go to your steering, fuse box, etc. I have ran a 8 gauge wire (**** ive run a 4 gauge wire) through this firewall in a accord before and it looks very professionally installed.

oh and DO NOT run your power wire with any other wires. you will get engine noise and it will be very annoying. run your power by the drivers side and the rca, remote, etc run it by the passenger side. This is if you are going to run it under the door moldings. if you are going to run the wires from the center just run your power from driver and the rest from whereever u want
