Default general help/info needed...

i bought my car with a pre-installed python alarm, and i heard that if i replaced my stock deck with an aftermarket deck, my keyless entry wont work?? can anybody verify it for me? i've heard how some people just shove the stock deck in the back of the console when the get aftermarket decks...?

and if i do get an aftermarket deck, do the cel codes still show up like normal?

sorry if this stuff is too general, i'm just really interested in audio now...thanks

I have never heard or seen anything like that. The only vehicles that have problems with changing out factory decks and alarms, are GM with onstar because they use the radio to connect and talk back to you. However, your car has no problems with that and python is not a factory alarm.
