Front Drivers Side Speaker not working?
Hey guys im trying to figure out what the problem may be with my front speaker, it didnt work at all so i took it out to test it to see if i needed a new speaker but it did work so im just wondering since i dont know much about this what could the problem be?
Thanks.
Thanks.
I took it out and tested it with my stereo in my house and the speaker works. Aftermarket head unit (pioneer), external amp (alpine) im not sure which one it is but its a smaller one.
I havent checked the continuity of the speaker wires but ill definately check that tonight, Thanks.

Try the speaker from the passenger side on the driver's side channel. How old is the Pioneer unit? How many channels is the Alpine amp?
Edit: Also, if the headunit wires are put together with those plugs they use at circuit city instead of being soldered properly, chances are one of the pins is loose behind the head unit. I would definitely check that, especially if you are not sure how the headunit is wired.

I believe the pioneer unit is relatively new not really sure though, the amp is 2 channels but ill check out how its wired to the head unit too, Thanks for the suggestions
