Default FM Modulator help

I just got an FM modulator for my xm radio. There is a wire coming off of it that sais it should be "plugged into the vehicles 12V power terminal." I'm assuming this is the cigarette lighter, but which wire would I tap into? Thanks

Any 12v source will work , your fuse box will have both a constant and a switched 12v freepin on it 94

u shouldn't have to tap into any wire. just plug it into the lighter outlet. if you split any wire on your xm it might void warranties.

You can get an Aux input cable assembly and have true high quality for any head unit. Just did it in my Honda and the difference is night/day!
