Default few quick power questions

just had a few quick questions before i attempt my first try with something involved. these questions are also fundamental questions that i needed to ask before doing everything else i wanted to do

1) i have two power wires from the alarm brain. they both should be fused sufficiently by the two power wires theyre soldered to on the ignition harness right? the manual says they both should be fused if im running more then 24 amps constant with acc, and everything

2) do i neeed to be careful about how much im running on the alarm and whats fused or is the ignition harness going to fuse everything for me? im at least putting ina relay for illuminated entry, a solenoid and relay to open the trunk using the two power wires (red and the red/white) from the alarm brain and possibly a relay to control the headlights.

Default Re: few quick power questions (SexiMexi)

The relay for the lighted entry can go off the alarm power wire. The trunk should come off the white wire or from the battery. everything should have there on fuse on its own power lead.
