Default Factory Component holes?

I have Alpine Type-R 6.5 inch components(powered by an alpine amp) for the front in my 99 ex 4dr. My friend with a 2000 EX coupe has fastory component holders in the mirror pannels on the inside(which ppl allready know about). I am wondering, can i buy those mirror mounts for my 99 ex sedan? if so will they fit my alpine tweeters?

You can buy they from the honda dealer, however what I would do is get some bondo, and make your own tweeter pods and angle the tweeters how you would like them for optimal sound. I'm assuming that you still have your angle mount tweeter cups. Plus I think that the side mirror pieces are about 20-30 a side. They are expensive and not really worth it in IMHO.

I thought that generally wasn't considered a good place to mount tweeters anyway?
