Default Engine Noises or bad connection possibly???

Recently in the past week i have had bad distortion in my speakers..i just bought Pioneer front speakers in my 95 coupe...but the distortion is still there...maybe its a bad connection? any suggestions would be good..

what kind of distortion? if its engine noise then it might be bad wiring. Discribe it best you can, ill check back and help you out later.

do you have an amp or are runing from the headunit?

if so change it and install amps, problem must go away

maybe its your cd player. When burned cd's get old, they start to distort and sound bad

if you give a better description of the 'distortion' (any non-natural signal is considered distortion), then there wouldn't be so many shots in the dark. all of the above suggestions are possible, though. Don't run and install amps until you know exactly what the problem is.

for example, i get "engine noise"

high pitched sound created when i press the pedal.

a lot of times its higher pitched and louder when the AC is on.

if not its a consistant whine.. then gets loud as pedal is pushed

i was telling him to change the rado and install amps, but you are right

you are the person with this problem?

that sounds like bad ground i had the same problem but a pyramid noise suppressor quickly solved that

and i don't think it affected the way my music plays anyway

might want to try a better brand though
