Just another form of the autolock. It can be beaten. It can be cut or your pedals can be bent. But yes, when leaving your car parked for a long period of time, having a clutch lock will slow a thief down quite a bit.

That won't stop your car from being stolen. They could just tow the car.

Never relay on just a club to secure your car.

say that they had an expert car their try and could not do it. It would take a grinder which is super loud or a hacksaw which would take a while and some one would prolly see it and ask you what your doing. My car is garage kept luckily and wouldn't ever be left out cause I have a daily driver but if I lived in the city I would def get one and paint it black so it wouldn't stand out.

well everybody knows any car can be stolen but i think this is prolly the best thing out there so far. unless you have ten kill switches, 2 backup batteries for your alarm, an attack dog sitting in the back seat and your car chained to you nuts so when it gets moved it squeeses them so you know your car is being taken. i put something new up and everybody has to try and rain on my parade thanx! oh i cant steal that thing, i can cut that thing right off. every peice of **** thats out there stealing cars has a tow truck!

oh and i would love to see you bend a set of pedals outward. i dont think you can ben 1/4 thick flat steal the way your saying. inless you sit there with a torch or a grinder. and if someone was outside my house with a grinder (which you could here from a half mile away) they would be staring down the barrel of my sawed off.

Calm down, its not a end all be all security by any means.

When my friends car was stolen, his padel and his autolock were left sitting in his drive way. He sleeps less the 3 feet away and didnt hear anything.
When my other freinds car was stolen, they snapped the clutch club he had in half.
When my accord was stolen, which i have never found, they broke my clutch padel and left it there.

Your new find is noithing more then a bigger autolock.

Instead live down a long windy drive way, get a shot gun, and have real anti theft :D

or just invest in a garage.. both work

You, sir, should check facts before you claim them. First of all, I had a thief bend my pedals while trying to get off one of these clutch locks. Second of all, it only takes a Sawz-all to cut through one of those and I guarantee every thief has a Sawz-all in their tool chest. The tool is practically made for thieves.

Look to any well-established automotive security installer and they will all tell you the same thing: clutch locks CAN be beat. They simply slow down a thief and make the car harder to steal but they are definitely not the "end all be all security system." You shouldn't make a claim like that and not expect to get any criticism.

a sawz all is just as loud as a grinder! if someone was going at a car at 3 in the morning and i heard that **** i would emediatly call the cops even if they werent stealing a car and just cutting something i would. idk sorry i put the wrong title on here sorry if i pissed people off witht his thread. i had never seen one of these and was just trying to help maybe one person from getting their car stolen. thread closed!
