Default Enclosure question

hey guys, im doing a fiberglass box in the back on my 91 integra.. I have a 15" solobaric L5 running off of a 550rms Memphis amp.. im wondering if it would be better to port the box or build it sealed?

The problem with porting it is all in the calculations. You need to know your exact enclosure volume, and based on that, and your specific sub specifications, you can come up with the right port size for your enclosure. Calculating the right volume is difficult in a fiberglassed enclosure with a lot of unusual surfaces. But if you can estimate it pretty close, porting can be quite rewarding. It will hit a lot harder a sealed equivalent.
