Default Which Electrical Wire to Cut.

So I just recently bought my Integra. I'm in the middle of de-ricing and in my A-Pillars are these little lights. The picture below will show them. They turn on whenever my car is turned off or the key is not in the ignition. They're really annoying and look teh ghey so I wanna get rid of them. Over winter break I'm going to get to some junk yards and find some new pillars to replace the ones in there now, but in the mean time, I just want to cut the wires to stop the lights from turning on. They're draining my battery and today was the second day this month I've had to jumpstart the car.

That's the light. There's the three wires, as most of you can see. Yellow, Red, and Black. This is where you guys come in. I'm not too savvy with this kinda stuff and could someone give me a quick answer as to which wire to cut and tape off for about a week until I get some new pillars? Or could I just take the negative terminal off the battery and untape each wire that looks just wrapped together and tape it there? Any help is appreciated. Just let me know if you guys need any more info on it.

Um, cutting any of the wires will stop them from operating... One is power in, one is ground, and one is the trigger to turn them on.

You could cut all 3 and tape them up. Just don't cut them all at once.

Alright thanks. I just didn't know if there was an order I needed to cut them in so I didn't short anything, or something of that nature.

It's not a bomb that you would need to cut the wires in a certain order. Just cut them off one at a time.

But at least he ask the order, Some people on here just do it. But back to the question. Try to trace the wires back to the source if possiable. If they got there they can be taken out. This way you can prevent future problems and don't have to worry about if those wires in the pillar are a cause
