Can't you just use the cage that came with the Alpine deck? I did that with my double DIN Alpine.

you need a double din honda multi kit. i always use the american international hon-k828 as i think it is a better looking kit. metra and scosche also offer kits that will work. none of the tabs hold though. i put the kit in first, then the cag and bend the cage tabs to hold it all together. the across the bottom back i used hi strength amber hot glue to hold it together. been this way in both my civics for several years no problem. heres a really old pic.

yeah thats what i had in originally the double din with the little pocket. My sisters friend (the one who installed it) said it was a accord double din or something so i was looking for that, but no luck. Thanks for giving me the part number.

The clips should hold though, my other one held with the cage, but he put the kit in the cage first. it help pretty nicely im guessing b.c it had screws to hold it up.
