Default Eclipse or ID Max??

I have JUST NOW been turned on to some new high end subwoofery, lol (besides JL). I am interested, but have no local shops in the M-Town to hear any of these subs. But I may buy on word of mouth alone cuz for $400, I can have a SQ and SPL sub I can put 1000 watts to??? Any opinions about these subs?

I'd say the MAX.

There was some testing going on with the IDMAX v4 - I haven't heard it though. The reviewer said it was an improvement, overall.

You could also try an XBL^2 sub (Adire Brahma, RE XXX)
