Has anyone ever bought car audio stuff off this website, i was wandering if they are legit or not.

 

I have never, but I have heard of a lot of people that have and I have heard nothig bad. Just becareful of buying audio equipment online because some manufacturers will not warrenty teir stuff unless it is purchased from and authorized dealer.

 

What are you looking to buy specifically?

 

I ordered my deck from them, and my roomate did as well.. A+ service and delivery.

I'd recommend them to everyone.

I would not buy a new Fosgate amp. I heard that they sold the company in 2001 and the company that bought them kept the name, but started producing pure ****. I have an RF amp and ****** love it, but I got in December 2000, so I was luckky.

Again, this is just was I heard, but I am not sure. i just wouldn't risk it.

rockford never had any other parent company. they were always owned by rockford corp. only thing changed was that rockford went cheap and chose quantity over quality. their amps are still underrated and such, but not as much as the older ones.

All their stuff is brand new. Not refurbished.

(As for the hijack.. i almost ordered my deck from etronics, but discountsjungle was cheaper so i have no clue how they are.)

 

The only thing that worries me about discountsjungle.com is that they only have a 14 day warranty on their items, have ya'll had any probs out of the stuff bought from them?

Sorry I don't know when it was made, I have a 400S amp, does it fall w/in the better made RF or crappier made RF?

And I would think that you don't get the manufacturer warranty cuz you're not buying from authorized dealer....

 

I've had my deck for a little over a month now.. not a single problem/complaint with it.

 

im gonna go with the 601s RF amp to push my 2 12inch alpine type r's, is that a good choice?

 

Is there a cheap place to buy a solobaric 15 L7?

Funny, people still buy MB Quart speakers, even though they are owned by the Rockford Corp. too.....

The last of the good Rockford stuff was sold in 97 or 98 maybe....every since then it's been a downhill slide IMO. I have not touched the Type RF line though(which was marketed as being great). The only good thing that they are making now could be some of the new headunits - then again, they don't make them, Denon does

i just ordered 2 Kicker Solo-Baric 12" L7s and Pioneer 6x9 TS-A 6990R 5 Ways and Pioneer 6.5 TS-A 1680R 4 Ways. We'll see what happens with discountsjungle.com.
