DEI tracking system found in JY - grab it?
So I came across a DEI tracking system while pulling apart a Civic in a JY and I'm not sure whether I should grab it or not.
I didn't get the specifics off the unit, but there was a sticker that had a 2005 date. It was made up of three pieces: A "brain" unit, a small battery box with a battery inside, and a flat antenna with two cables leading to the "brain".
Lacking specifics, should I grab it? More specifically, can I still get service on this device? I know there were older analog units that are not viable now.
I can probably walk away with it for $10 or so.
I'm going back tomorrow for some other stuff so it's no biggie to grab it.
