Do you know of a Cd deck with either RCA or 1/4" audio-ins? I want a deck I can hook my iPod up to without resorting to the cassette adapter.
Under $300?
Thanx!

Yeah, that may be a little high. If you read my other post, it's for my "temporary" POS 89 Prelude. I shouldn't say POS, cause it's decent, and it runs, but I don't want to spend more on the stereo than the car's value!
grab an 1/2 din eq, most have dual inputs one for your radio and one for a "cd" device, this is perfect for hooking up an ipod, becaues you can then hit a switch and take the second input, plus u get a eq to help tune your car a little better ($40).

It's a tiny 5 or 10 gig MP3 player made by Apple, with some organizer functions. Firewire interface too (download and entire ripped CD in a few seconds, plus you can recharge the battery via the cable). Very, very cool. Mac only for now, but a PC version is supposed to be out by mid-July.
it would be any panisonic 602, 702, 802, 902, they would start off at 250 and up .... all of the high end panisonics come with front, rear, sub out puts, and one input for screens, dvds, vcp, ect.....
Also the JVC KHSH707, KDSH909.
It is a front mounted "mic" style input.
Check out the unit here:
