In-dash tv getting bad reception...
My in-dash t.v. is getting bad reception and radio stations get fuzzy sometimes.Near the end of the radio antenna wire is a adapter that connects to the wire so it can fit in the normal radio antenna input.I noticed the wire in that end piece is all smushed down and its very thin.I was wondering if I should replace that end piece(maybe one with a thicker wire if those exist) or should I get a antenna for the "brain" of the t.v.(theres 4 inputs that say diverse antenna inputs or something like that)?
Also I heard its illegal to have the t.v. on while driving since it can distract the driver....anyone know if thats true?

yes playing dvd's while driving is illegal. Thats why there's an e-brake wire...and also gyros in some like the pioneers.
your description of whats going on with your antenna wires is poor at best. I think what youre saying is there's a female pigtail coming out the back of the screen thats smashed. If the wires were broken..you wouldnt get static...youd get NOTHING. what brand is the deck? some just have bad tuners. The "diverse" antenna you speak of is most likely for TV bunny ears
hope that helps

Yea I was thinking about that
.But maybe I can get one of those boxes and get a power outlet adapter for my car and use it.Or does it use a coaxle cable like cable t.v.?

it doesn't use a home style coax cable...it uses a smaller cable that looks like an 1/8" headphone jack....you could use a power inverter and splice the home style coax wire to the car coax.. if its worth it to ya!

Thats the way, lol. Or get direct tv for the car. I love it because I got all the channel of home and wifi at the same time
