In-Dash Remote control question

When i bought my xav-7w in-dash it didn't come with a remote (bought it used). So my question is if i bought a sony remote will i be able to program it to the in-dash or will the in-dash automaticaly pick it up? also anyone know where i can get one besides online?

Judging by the pics on eBay, that unit came with a standard remote.

You should be able to use a RM-x110 remote, which are readily available on eBay.
