Default CVA-1003 Please Help

ok i got a 1003 for x mas and i am going use the 1003 and my pioneer 7400, and a playstation 2 in the car. i need to know how to hook up the cd and ps2 to the 1003. i got a ip bus that plugs into the cd player for an extra rca output. but where do i plug the cd player into and the ps2 into. also how does the ps2 get its power what do i need to do there. also if i don't want the parking brake wire plugged in do i just ground it out or do i just leave it alone.

first off im unsure if its possible to hook the 1003 and 7400 up together cause that would be 2 source units.. you need to get an dc/ac convertor and plug the ps2 into that.. it brings the voltage from 120 down to 12 so it wont fry it. as for the parking break trick, hook the foot break wire to the green/white at the foot break, then ground out a switch for the parking break, so all you will have to do is hit the brake, flip the switch and hit the break again

im not quite shure how u can hook up a non alpine cd player up, but the ps2 should just plug right in to the brake out box which is on the alpine blue cable on the back

You have to get an extra adapter for extra audio/video inputs. Not sure what the p/n is, but the 1003 has no extra audio/video inputs like the 1005, 1006, or the c800. That was a big reason why i went with the 1006.

actually it does....the part is an kce103v its the input output device for the 1003
its cost is 150.00 ( which still brings its cost to a much lower price than that of the 1006) and it has a detachable face and xm radio capability. I love my adaptor.

I busted out my soldering iron and added my own inputs before, but I wouldn't recommend it unless you have experience soldering to circuit boards.
