Default Need some sort of an adapter for the cd changer????

Ok I got a nice portable mp3 player and was reading that instead of using the device that plays the mp3 player thru an fm channel on your car radio....you are better off connecting the mp3 player to an aux input on your headunit. Now I don't think that my pioneer deh-p7300 has this kind of input. The other option I found was a converter for the cd changer input that allows you to connect the mp3 player that way.
Any of you guys that work in shops have any idea what this part is called so I know what to look for?????
