Default custom box in a prelude

Has anyone seen or built a custom box for a 92-96 prelude? I am planning on making one for my car, I want all the info that I can get. If you have pics or stories, or tips, they all would be appriciated. I want it to look good, but also sound good, so specifics, like dimensions would be helpful. I have 2 12" Kicker CVR's to put in my trunk. THANKS A BUNCH

I'm in the beginning stages of building a box for my lude now. I plan on building a box out of 3/4" MDF in my backseat. All i've done is taken measurements and ****, so now i gotta pick out a sub that will work well in a box with those measurements. I'll let ya know how it works out for me.

I want fiberglass, but I will probably go with wood. Any suggestions?

use sparetire well make baffel [surface you mount sub to] out of MDF at least 1inch, thicker if using more then 500 watts RMS ,1inch for crib [the sides, front and back that the baffel "top" is mounted to] the higher the sides, the more volume the box has [ you must use the right volume for the sub you are using] = [you need sub/s before you build box. use fiberglass for bottom of box [the sparetire well] very solid, removeable , you still have trunk/hatch space, and if done right it will be LOUD!!! 3 speaker mounting rules, rule 1 absolutly flat serface to mount speaker on, rule 2 airtight seal betwean front and back of speaker, rule 3 Mass [the lower the Hz the more mass you need] eg tweeters need a very small amount of mass, they can hang in mid air and sound ok, midrange need more mass and an airtight seal, subs need lots of mass, airtight seal and the proper size [volume]box [also airtight ,unless ported] hope this helps 94

yea i did have some plans for the trunk once with a pair of subs, but they are way to complicated to explain by typing. I would have to show you in person or something. I wish i had a scanner so i could draw it out or somethin. sorry man.
