Odd, everything works when the car is not running, but quits when you crank the car??

What size power and ground cable are you running?

Are you sure that the turn on lead is hooked to the propper wire from the head unit?

Where is it grounded?

Maybe it is a bad ground location, and the viration or something about the car itself is interupting the ground to that location????

Maybe it is a voltage issue, and the amp isn't getting enough current when the other accesories in the car are on??

Weird, the older Punch stuff was awesome, and if it will work with the car off, I would assume the amp was OK??

good luck, maybe checking some of these things can help you.

the wires i am using are def big enough my dad had the stareo b 4 me and he used smaller stuff but i tried it and it cut in and out how it is now so i tried changeing it

which wire should b the turn on lead my dad is like a pro installer he did his 3 times then once in my moms van he did 2 of his brothers stareos and all these other ones 4 his freinds

i did the ground it was on a pole from the spair tire but i changed it to like 10 inches from the amp on the floor type dealy

my dad just noticed there is no volt regulator i wounder if i put that in would it help

yea i love how it sounds when my car isnt running but its so weird like it works when the car first turns on but then after like a couple mins of driveing it turns off and the whole amp turns off like even the on light

probably have a loose connection and when the car runs it shakes it enough to make it cut out.

Check fuses, grounds, any hard-wired connections...

That's all I can suggest ATM.
