Default consant power wire

i got a 96 integra and my headunit doesnt keep memory just wondering what the constant wire color is and also if their is any other ideas that could be the problem it happened on the stock headunit and it still happens when i have the alpine in their...thanks for the help

Have you checked the radio fuse under the hood?

Did you install this yourself? Since it turns on, I'm guessing you reversed the ignition and constant power wires.

yea i intsalled it with the help of a buddy of mine but it was a fuse under the hood that was bad and it also made my dash clock work now to its great but for some reason it doesnt keep the bass levels and the treble levels that i have set is this normal or did i do something

Are you sure? A lot of stereos will actually have seperate adjustments for the mode your in. IE the settings for the CD you just listened to will not carry over to the FM mode and etc...
