Default Compustar Problems AGAIN!!!!

This just started the other day. Came home removed my ECU (as I always do) then set my alarm. About an hour later alarm started going off so I go check and nothing is around. So I arm it. Before I can even turn around to walk away the damn thing goes off again. So I do the same as before and arm it and it does this again. I play this on again off again game for about 5 minutes. Then I get fed up and just disarm the damn thing. But I live in Lakewood so I go and arm it again and it chirps 3 times indicating that my door is open. I check my doors and all is good and go arm it. Except now it don't want to arm but chirp at me like I'm stupid. I don't know what's wrong with it at all and it's making me mad.

If it says you door is open then its getting a signal from the door trigger.

Up here in Oregon where it rains a lot I have the same problem with the hood on my truck. To fix I use a bunch of electrical grease keeps the water out of the switch.

Check your connections. The door trigger only uses one wire.

who installed your compustar? mine has a **** load of problems. i've replaced the brain like 4 times already. i think i'm on my way for my 5th one, it's just that i haven't had time to stop into the shop. for some reason, my friends don't have a problem at all though. weird *** ****. i've even gone to the compustar office in tukwila, they couldn't figure it out either.

Car Audio Express down in Lakewood installed it. I drive a 92 VX. I took it back to them and they said it might be my door pin. We getting alot of rain around here now so he told me that water might be messing with it. I also told him that the previous installer at his shop did a shitty job of installing the hood button so the owner went out himself and replaced it. So far now it hasn't went off but I'm crossing my fingers. The Compustar I have is the 1WAM-AS (alarm with remote start). The freakin cheapest one they make with autostart. Damn I need to upgrade like yesterday.
