Default Compustar problems

I got my alarm installed last week and when the tech tried to show me how to use the alarm, the car wouldnt start. This is the remote start and turbo timer system. I got the car towed to a shop and tyhe guy over there said that it could be the remote start feature. My question is if anyonw has run into this problem? And how they fixed it.

I have a 98 type r. I was reading on some websites about the remote start and how it has to bypass the clutch or something like that. I dont know much about electronics and the such, so any advise would be of help. Well, the guy at the shop that I took it to also mentioned that the remote start doesn't really work with newer cars. He couldn't talk to the audio shop that instaled the alarm b/c they were already closed.
