Compustar Problems
My first problem I've noticed was that at night my dash lights flicker now. I have to hit the dash around the dimmer **** to make them come on. Second problem was putting the car in reserve mode and getting out and closing the door the car would stay on. Now when I arm the car no chirp and when I disarm the car no chirp. I really think the installers f'd up my car installing this alarm. Oh by the way the damn alarm wire is now hanging around brake pedal. I'm almost fed up with having this alarm. Any help would be appreciated.

Sounds to me like the installation is the problem, wiring hanging below dash is not a proper install.
If your dash lights have a problem and banging the dash around the "dimmer" means the "Dash Lights Brightness Controller", [dimmer] is the problem, or its not plugged in properly.
Car continuing to run after put into reservation mode, could be door pin input not connected properly, Compustar not programed properly, make sure turbo timer is not programed on.
For the arm/disarm chirp make sure it's on, press and release buttons I and II at the same time.
Where did you get the alarm, what is the model number, where did you have it installed?

The model number is 1WAM-AS (alarm with remote start). I got it installed at this place called Audio City or something like that. That's the same place I bought it from as well. When I looked up under the dash they had the brain shoved up there and the only reason it didn't fall was because they wrapped the rest of the wires around it.

Yeah I still have the guide. Talk about to little to late. My buddy picked me up from there to hang out while they did the install. 10 minutes down the road the conversation goes like this.
buddy:so uh yeah what they doing to your car?
me: oh i'm getting an alarm installed because we moving off post.
me: why is your alarm brain dangling down by your brake pedal?
buddy: OH that's what I wanted to tell you!!!!!
me: what?!!!!
buddy: those people you left your car with intalled my alarm and now i have to use one transmitter to unlock the car and the other to arm the alarm. oh and that brain used to be up under the dash.
me: WTF!!!!!

Is it an authorized Compustar dealer?
If not, your kind of out of luck, however a complaint of shoddy work to Compustar can result in them loosing Compustar and persistent complaints that they will not fix the problem(s) will have you going to another authorized dealer for an inspection and possible complete reinstall of the system, we have done a couple repair or re-installations, paid for by Compustar, [distributor. for Compustar up here, Staub] when the dealer lost the line.
First thing though is to give the place where you got it a chance to fix the problem, show the owner and insist that it be done properly, and if they refuse or will not at least refund the install charges so you can have it installed properly, then complain to Compustar even the BBB, if all else fails make a sign park in front of there store and invite people, [customers] to have a look at what kind of work they do, that should get their attention.
