Default Component Speaker Install Question.

Im going to install a set of component speakers in a set of kick panels but I have a question about the wiring... Im going to be using and amp to power the speakers so im wondering, what wire do you guys suggest using to run from the amp to the cross overs for power? should I use speaker wire? or should I go with a smaller gauge power cable?

MB Quart isn't really known for their amps. I'm sure its a good piece though.
I've been out of the scene for a while so I'm trying to figure out who still makes good amps and who makes bricks now.

Is it just to drive the components?

The amp will work just fine and 16ga speaker wire is more then enough for 100W RMS.

I would not buy any car audio from a non authorized dealer, there is no mention, [that I can find] that they are authorized for any of the product they sell, which means no manufacturer's warranty, and that means no guarantee that the product is new, or refurb/recalled or even counterfeit. 94

That was only an example... im buying it from OnlineCarStereo.com... They are an MB Quart authorized dealer. I just buy my other stuff from woofersetc.com because they usually have what im looking for and other sites dont, and some of their prices for wire and some other stuff is pretty good.

They offer a 1 year in house warranty on that site on everything they sell which is pretty reasonable...

" Every single product you purchase from Woofersetc.com includes the comfort which can only be achieved with a full 1 year warranty. Regardless of the brand or product, the company’s 1 year “in house” warranty stands behind every single brand new product you can purchase."

And they are a member of the BBB.

I agree, a 1 year in house warranty, is better then most online sites...

Still not a manufacturer's warranty, meaning you can not take the product to an authorized warranty depot, [with bill of sale] and have it repaired, you will have to send it to them, guess who pays for shipping and insurance.

WoofersEtc.com will not be held responsible for incidental loss of use, installation or removal, reinstallation or shipping charges associated with defective or returned products. 94
