Default Civic EP3

I have a Civic EP3 and i`m gonna change the headunit and also the stock speakers. Could anyone give me som information how to remove the old head unit, also how to remove the door panels. Can`t figure out where all the screws are located, and i really don`t wanna break annything.

Cheers Yogi.

Well, I know that the shifter bezel unclips, but I'm foggy on the details. When you buy the dash kit (such as the HON-K811), it'll have step by step directions in the package.

Door panels on Hondas are generally the same. Screws in armrest cups and behind door handle, then clips all the way around. Get yourself a panel popper (panel removal tool) and things will go very smoothly.

It's probably got a cd changer input, which you can use as an aux input for an iPod.

for the input adapter.... pie.net had the adapter for you o add your i pod.

for the door panels you have to remove the silver insert in the door to reveal a few screws. then there is that black cover below that that is about 6 to8 inches long remove that.. there is a notch on the bottom side and towards the front of the car. that panel will reveal 5 or 6 more screws. after that remove the tweeter housing and the window switch/handle assembly. after that the door panel will pull right off pretty much. i am sure you can figure out the rest. if not let me know

There are many many threads on VAFC's... Did you search the Archives? Or did you even go to Apexi's site?
