Lol. That's not how you do it. Hook up the ground to the cap, then hook up a 20 watt light bulb in series with the power. The bulb will glow brightly at first, and then slowly fade. When it's very dim/off, remove the bulb and connect the power wire directly to the cap.
What I find easiest to do is connect the amp/cap as it should be (with the power wire fuse removed). Then connect a light bulb where the fuse goes. When the bulb goes out, remove the bulb and install the fuse.

mine cam with a little chip with an led on it so i didnt have to do that.
so i called the guy at RF and he said to watch the volt readout on the cap and wait till its about 10v then hurry up and install it. i ended up turning the charger to 110amp instead of 15amp, then the volt start rising on the camp readout. i did that then installed it as fast as i could. worked out good. thanks
