how do i install a capicator?

Remove fuse in amps power lead, connect the amps power lead to the caps pos.(+) terminal, connect a lead, same [gauge] from caps pos.(+) terminal to amp, ["parallel" connection] run a ground lead, [same gauge or thicker then the power lead] from the caps neg. (-) terminal and ground it at the same place the amp is grounded.
Once connections are made, install a 12V light bulb, [in series] where the fuse goes, the bulb will light up bright and slowly dim down till it is almost out, once almost out, the cap is charged, remove bulb and install fuse. 94
