Default Cd player problems :(

Ok, well i took my dash out of my car and all and anyways, before i did, my cd player would cut off randomly every time i turned it on, like it would play music for a min or so then just cut off then try and cut back on and cut off, and i always heard a "bump" from my speakers, like randomly every once in a while my subs would just bump 1nce. Well i put my car back together and asked at circuit city, well he said i might need to run a bigger power cord but i already had a big enough power cord so we tightened it up on my battery because it was a tad loose and all of a sudden my cd player was working perfect. Well i had it only about halfway into where it slides in because i was going to have to take it out to fix some minor imperfections i made on my dash. Well the same day we went straight to the mall right after we fixed it, everything was sounding/hitting good and all then after we left the mall on our way home i was just like touching the bottom of the cdplayer. Like i pushed up on the bottom looking at something (it wasnt a hard push or anything) and it just like died... Well my amp, crossover, and capacitor all turn on when i crank up my car, but i cant get my cd player to start if my life depended on it and i dont know what to do, i hope its not blown up or something, its a pioneer dh-p6400 i think thats the model at least.. Any help is appreciated!!

ps: i also had a tv hooked up if it helps anything altho its taken out of course right now! It could go thru my speakers btw
