my friend was installing a cd deck in his ek hatch and he accidentally cut the wire with the clip on it that hooks to the facotory cd player and now he dosent know what wire it is. anyone have any idea. Thanks in advance

What does it look like? get a test light and find out what it does.

just crimp the factory harness back on and buy a harness for like $17 at best buy and crimp that onto the deck. then its just plug and play. no problems now or down the road with it this way.
