Default car deck

Hi..Where do you guys think it's a good place to hide the face plate of a deck in the car?

Well most people just put it in the glovebox for the the sake that if the plate is not ON the radio it may be a better theft deterrent just because it's not known where the face it at. Generally if the theif is going to break in for it, he/she will do it anyway. Although another option, although a pain in the *** would be to slide it up under the lower dash area on the drivers side footwell. Like the plastic area that is part of the fuse box cover, it's all open underneath so you could just slide it up there.

I put mine in the glove box, the reason I do so is because if anyone just glances in my car they don't see some shiny piece of expensive stereo equipment in my car, all they see is just a black background (which through tinted windows just looks like a normal car interior.
