Capacitor question....
Alright i know many people will say that caps are pointless, but it seemed to solve my dimming problem but i still am having an issue with the cap itself. It won't stay charged while im driving and then that annoying *** high pitched "beep" will come on. I go to where my cap is mounted and mess around with some of the connections a little bit (turning slightly and adjusting) and sometimes it will get it to charge again, but not for long. Like i said, sometimes it will stay charged and sometimes it wont...that beep is ANNOYING! what could the problem be?
What kind of capacitor is it?
Did you buy one with christmas tree light on top (voltage meter)? They are pointless by the way. Sounds like you just might have a bad connection.
And caps aren't pointless they serve a purpose.

What is getting rid of the meter do? i meen, it is inside the cap so what is it hurting to leave it there? I just check my grounds and fixed them a little bit, so lets see how long it will hold off.
