Default can blown subs be fixed

hey whats up i have 2 alum 12's that are blown, will i'm pretty sure they are one makes little noise it was hooked up and the other makes none at all. when this happened there was a burning smell in my care, i'm not really sure if they can be fixed or not it might be the voice coil i'm not sure, maybe that is what a blown sub is any help would be great thanks

some companies offer cheaper replacements if you blow a speaker, crash replacement style. Warranty? Go back to where you bought it and start asking questions

If it can be built, it can be fixed.

Will they fix it though. Maybe, maybe not.

What you are looking for is called a reconing. Some companies provide this service for their subs. This is common practice on subs over $300.

I don't know about your particular sub though.

I paid $75 to have an old SoundStream SPL sub (paid $200 for) to have reconed. They sent a new one. It could be worth it.
