Hey everyone, I recently got a little time and decided to put a kenwood 8" powered basstube model KSC-WA801 to add a little Bass to the stock stereo system.I got everything working for a few days, when I noticed that the sub started to sound terrible, upon inspection the sub was blown the surrounds were in pieces. The surrounds felt like it losts its elasticity due to the fact that this unit was sitting in the basement for a few years so i figured it deterioated over time.
Well Im now looking for a replacement 8" sub. that would work with the amplifed basstube. but from reading the spec sheet of the kenwood tube im not sure which type of sub I should be getting in terms of watts, ohms, etc. can someone point me to a sub that would be ideal for the capability of the amp, or what I should be looking for. Thanks so much.
Attached is the spec sheet of the unit.

Will something like this work with the amp, amp says 2 ohm + 2 ohm does this mean it totals 4 ohms and I have to get a 4 ohm subwoofer? http://www.crutchfield.com/p_107DB84...VC.html?tp=111

yes i did its a dual voice i guess since it has a total of 4 speaker wires connected to it, so i should be looking for a 2 ohm dual voice sub instead of a 4 ohm dual voice sub? is that correct? What about wattage wise? Thanks
it only looks like you have 60 watts of power, which isn't a lot, so just look for the lowest power handling dual 2 ohm sub.
