i have seen cxSHOE with one, a boot, such as the one found to be used by ticket enforcement. can a tow truck tow on this? im curious to know what hey cost.

on another note; sleep easy and pay the additional premium cost to insure your hard earned cash.

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by o_O &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">you might get more responses if you post this in the Audio/Security section.....

off the top of my head:

1) alarm
2) starter/ignition/fuel kill
3) manual fuel kill switch
4) hood lock
5) reroute hood release cables
6) shave keyholes/disable trunk lock
7) autolock/club
8) removable steering wheel
9) take out ECU
10) pull fuses from under hood...

none of this will stop a thief with a towtruck.......unless maybe you buy wheel boots for all four wheels........
</TD></TR></TABLE>

This is ******* sad. All this just to drive our honda's. People need to work for their **** instead of thinking that is mad cool to steal other peoples **** that we worked hard for. Theifs just should all die. I can park my Ford Escort beater in the middle of the empty mall parking lot at nite and nobody will **** with it. None the less, I park my hatch right in front of the mall surrounded by cars, with an alarm, in broad day light and someone will try to steal it... what the ****.

i know.....

how about NOT posting up images of your ride / location on HONDA TECH ?

Im 122% positive majority of cars stolen here , are by viewing members or associates...

im glad i live all the way down in OZ - but im sure some ghetto kids would find a way to use a remote control tow truck to find my car somehow !

the following site has the dead bolts. no good picture on how the really work but ive seen them from another place and they were pre manufactured. not a hack job. actually self contained bolts. I think this is one of the best ideas. still nothing is full proof.

yea i saw this thing that if they try to open the door and they let the handle slap back it activated a flame thrower on the side of the car. they put it on a BMW i thought it was cool. or if you leave you window down and then they try to lean in and check for keys the window shoots up at a high speed and cuts their head off. lol. http://www.stickdeath.com thats where i got some of those ideas

i would get an early warning lowjack

as soon as your car is moves unauthorized the company will call you and inform you. and about every town near by me has a lowjack device so they will pick up the stolen car. i would deffinaly invest in it

thieves pack ecus, fuses...anything you can think of. dont show your car off to people your not too close with. thats my best advice for you from experience w/ friends, etc.... i have friends that had thier garages attempted to be broken into!

- lock it up, garage it, kill starters, fuel pump...and insurance!
