Im toying with the idea of installing a small in cabin LED light, like the newer civics have. Has anyone done this before? ive searched and all i get are DIY's for changing the cabin lights.

 

i have seen a write up before. ive been lookign for it too for my idea. if you find it please post.
ive been toying with the idea for making a lighting setup for my guage cluster light. ive been trouble shooting for months trying to figure out why my guage cluster lights wont work so i wanted to set up a strip of led lights across the top of mty cluster set to a switch to turn them on when driving at night. i know it would be like a $10 project

i just need to know how to hook it up? i think this is similar to the dome light. so if some one could post up the write up it would help me too. sorry for the long post. not trying to highjack you post.

edit: just found this. ,must have missed it before.

i had to stare at the pics for awhile but i think i figured out how he did it you just do one row of positive and the other side is all negative , then you just do strips of LED, LED, R220 resistor from positive to negative. I THINK, IM NOT POSITVE ABOUT THE LOCATION OF POS AND NEG. if anybody can help me on this plz do. i think im going to start this project next weekend. im going to get the parts during the week.
